We hear and read a lot today from magazines to TV show on how to be healthier. How to eat healthier. What to do to lose weight. What supplements to take to lose weight, decrease the risk of heart disease, diabetes and many other conditions. You may have even tried one or numerous approaches and taken many recommended supplements and have not had the results you had hoped for or that others may have had. So what do you do now?
First we need to understand that each person is a unique individual. God has created each one of us uniquely with our own DNA and unique body chemistry. What works for one person will not necessarily work the same way for the next person. One person's food may be another person's poison. Activities that are beneficial to one person may lead to muscular skeletal issues for the next person.
A healthy body depends on a healthy immune system. Approximately 70-75% of your immune system is developed in the digestive tract. An unhealthy digestive tract can begin to disrupt your immune system function.
In my practice, I look at each person as the unique individual that God created you to be. A plan will be tailor made to fit your body make up/chemistry and your personal needs and circumstances. Your path to better health and wellness may have similarities, but will most likely be different in some ways than your family members and friends.
The path to wellness is like putting a puzzle together. I will begin to identify the bigger pieces of the puzzle first. Once we address the larger pieces, the smaller pieces will often begin to fit together on their own.
